After graduating with degrees in Classical Studies and English literature, Rachel spent over a decade as an educator, teaching Latin to high school students. Looking for a change and intrigued by the idea of coding, Rachel switched gears and joined AlbanyCanCode in the spring of 2019 in the role of Operations Support Specialist. Although she’s not in the classroom anymore, Rachel enjoys being able to engage with students, educators, employers, and community partners while sharing her belief that anyone can succeed at this work with the right tools and support.
