Eric Tucker, Senior Director, GE Aerospace Research, is a technology strategist and change agent who has participated in and led a broad array of breakthrough technology initiatives in his 24 years with GE. His team oversees GE’s High Performance Computing service, which enables the company to design next generation products using cutting edge simulation technologies. They also lead research missions, focused on accelerating the translation of scientific breakthroughs into new technologies. He has the honor of working with some of the world most gifted scientists on the world’s most pressing problems. Born and educated in the Capital Region, Eric studied at both UAlbany (B.S. Computer Science and Applied Mathematics) and RPI (Masters in Management, focus in Research Innovation.) Tucker brings to the board a passion for organizational strategy, which he sees as critical in reducing the disconnects between education, employer, and training sectors.
