Salesforce is a very successful, customizable customer-relations management tool that companies use for case and task management, tracking customer interactions, and a host of other important business and sales management tasks. This course will provide students with the skills they need to become a Salesforce Administrator. Salesforce Administrators provide valuable tools and supports to their team, from business process automation to custom reports and dashboards. No Salesforce or programming experience is required, though students should be comfortable learning to use new computer applications. Class topics will include platform basics, data modeling and management, customization, platform development, and use of the community cloud.
This course meets two evenings per week, three hours per session. Occasional labs outside of class meetings will provide further opportunities for mentoring and networking.
