Introduces the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, from core concepts to building practical tools such as chatbots, custom AI assistants, and agent harnesses.

This hands-on, beginner-friendly AI course is designed for adults looking to develop career-ready skills by effectively integrating AI into their learning and work. You’ll explore the evolving world of artificial intelligence in an accessible and practical way, gaining a strong foundation in AI concepts while focusing on safe and responsible AI usage.

Throughout the course, you’ll get direct experience with cutting-edge tools like ChatGPT and low- or no-code platforms. Key topics include prompt engineering, understanding AI models, and leveraging AI for coding, research, and automation. You’ll also work with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic AI, explore AI-powered workflows, and dive into machine learning fundamentals—all while maintaining a strong focus on ethical AI use and its limitations.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence to use AI tools effectively, develop AI-enhanced projects, and understand how AI is shaping the future of work and innovation.

Course Details:

Days/Times: This course meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:45pm – 8:45pm from September 22 – December 17, 2026.

Tuition: Our trainings are free for income-eligible individuals. Tuition is on a sliding scale, up to $3,500, for Employers, Partners, and individuals able to self-pay.
